I was 15 I believe (a long time ago). The closest I ever got to being with a girl was kissing one when I was 23. I was in the Marines at the time and thought that I might as well try it, and see what all the fuss was about. Need lees to say I was not impressed. Now, at 31 I have been in a loving relationship with my partner of 4 years. Whatever you decide on doing, make sure that it's because you want to do it and that it's legal where you are located at. If you need to, there are 1-800 numbers for gay youth (www.glnh.org), and there may be a Gay and Lesbian center in your community that you can contact with any questions you may have.

Got you all beat, I didn't even know I was a lesbian until I was about 26, 27. (1st experience)That's a late bloomer. Have a lady friend who didn't know until she was 50. Yes we all figure it out at diiferent times in our lives. If you're scared, contact PFLAG or your local gay center and they will help you find someone to talk to. Someone said to stay away from older guys for awhile - great advice because it could be considered molestation or rape. Don't rush into anything. Go meet some people. Talk. Join some groups that do things you enjoy. Get comfortable. Check out Planetout (.com) and write to their message boards. Don't give out personal info about yourself on line. It may not be who you think it is writing to you. Also, the first time you meet someone, make sure it's a public place. Be careful. When you feel it's the right time, remember that , as another writer said, no glove,no love. My very best to you, little brother.
And please ignore all the bible crap. They use that stuff to make us feel bad. Tell them to talk to 'the hand' 'cause you ain't listening. lol

I knew when I was 9 that I was gay, but I didn't have my first girlfriend until I was 20. I'm certain that at your age you can know that you are gay, but don't rush into anything. Take your time, read a few books, make a few friends, and just enjoy life before you come out, especially if your family is less than supportive.
