What a day to be French, eh?
Look, every day, you should be thankful that we saved your froggie butts in WWII, or you'd be speaking German. But, nobody, and I mean, NOBODY, likes your country, since you hate everyone who isn't France.
So, with the whole world watching you, you lost becuase your froggie guy Zidane thought he was John Cena from the WWE. Now, you have four whole years to cry in your little bottles of champagne.
Who thinks this is fantastic?

To be honest im still a little bitter towards France. I feel like they take advanatage of our hospitality and tend to be spoiled, so yes I was glad Italy won.

How can you say that Italy kick frances' asses when they won with only one miss by Trezeguet. That is comparable to somebody winning the ncaa finals on a buzzer beater. You guys need to **** off because the only player who showed abosolute briliance in that game was Cannavaro, who was even better than Buffon. That last 40 minutes of the game was completly dominated by the French and was only a finger save away from winning the cup.

im no cassanova (that's for sure...) are such bigoted racists, it is a disgrace.
At least the French went to the finals, we did not.
What does WWII has to do with anything ?
Besides, if you want to take it there, maybe be you should review your history books and realize that without Lafayette, you might not even be sitting where you are today.

Not me!! France played the better game. Zidane is amazing and I think it must have been something really bad to drive him to do what he did. Yes it was wrong ,but France deserved to win that game. The passing of the ball done by France was wonderful to watch. Next time my French friends!! Congrats to the Italians though you had lady luck on your side.

I'm so so happy that Italy won! Why not? They deserved to win. They had well planed tactics and Zidane did what was probably the stupidest thing he has ever done in his entire career. He can't blame anyone but himself, should have thought about the consequences before doing it.

I'm super happy france lost!! At first I felt sorry for france, but after Zidane's behaviour I totally changed my mind, they deserved to win for being that aggresive, he was the captain, it was his last game, he had to show at least some decency!! No matter what the italian player said he had to keep his cool. So i'm happy france lost!! GO ITALY

I am very happy for Italy... they haven't won in a long time and I love to see that happen. Next time- GO USA

I'm not happy France lost. I was really pulling for them. They had some great guys and some great plays and some great missed chances throughout.
