I plan on visiting Argentina, mainly Buenos Aires and Mar del Plata next December - February (less than 90 days). Do I need some sort of visa before I go or can I pretty much just buy the plane ticket and be on my merry way?

All you will need for Argentina is:

A valid US passport (make sure it will not expire within 6 months from the end of your visit)

A photo ID (like a driver's license)

**You will not need a visa

Otherwise, just buy your ticket and be on your way! Argentina is such a beautiful country. Hope you have a great time.
