I work for the Local Government where I am basically my own boss with weekends off and I am not that stressed out making $45,000 a year. On the other hand my whole life I have been wanting to go to Law School, I have been accepted to a leading Law School with a full Scholarship, what should I do?
I can attempt to do both but if I ended up having to cut one loose, which one should see the door?

All of you have been very helpful and I truly appreciate the sentiment. I am going to try both and I hope it will all work out for me, thanks! God Bless.

I would definitely attempt to do both. And I wouldn't worry about making the decision right now about which one to choose if you have to drop one - you'll already know when/if the situation comes up.

If you're talking about a high-tier lawschool, the full scholarship would likely be worth much more than the $45K per year, especially relative to your take-home.

Most law schools allow part-time at night, which would allow you to keep your job. Even if this school doesn't, you can always ask if you can do your day job part time (20 hour/week max for ABA schools), which covers your living expenses.

If you have any interest in law school, then a full scholarship is a blessing too good to pass up.

I don't see how you could pass up the opportunity for a full ride law degree, that is worth a lot of money. If it is something you have always wanted to do you should go for it and never look back, because if you don't you will regret it down the road.

Other things to consider is money. Could you move up and make more with your current job? Or would you be stuck making around that much money for the rest of your life. Lawyers can make a lot of money, but having a law degree could help you start your own firm or business, and you could then make as much money as you wish if you are good at it. It is time for you to start doing something for you, not someone else.

Well you are really the only one that can really decide that and which one would be best for you. But if you have wanted this all your life why would you even consider not going for it. You are closer to a goal that you have set than a lot of people I know. What will you do if the job you have only last a few years and something happens. And you do not want to hate yourself later in life or feel that you made the wrong decision. But as I said you are really the only one that can decide that.

What school? A law degree from the University of Phoenix is not going to open many doors...

I don't know how old you are or your financial situation, but I would say that a good lawyer can do much better then 45K a year.

Of course, you have to decide what you really want to do, you might be working 60-70 hour weeks.

You have to see this as a long term decision. You are actually fortunate but if one has to go, it would be the job for me.
