I called 911 twice and waited about 20 min until the ambulance and fire dept. go there, an officer never showed up and I had to go to the emergency room with the passenger i had w/ me. I never got to do a police report. Advice please

Sorry to hear this, well see because you had liability only you cant get them to cover you up nor can other person cover u as u dont know them. even when you have full coverage you still need an option called uninsured motorist . so getting any money out is not a problem
But yes to get that fool in trouble you can still approach the police station and make the report. you have to make a report in the county of that site. That is site where the accident happened because immediate jurisdiction applies there only. also when you goto lodge a complain you need to mention the time of accident and the time when you called 911 they have reports of it . also you can say you called them 2 times and give them the details of the call and as you had paramedics there and not a cop there in emergency situations they dont wait for the cop to get there before they get you to an ER. getting you to ER was more important than waiting for a cop. A report might have already been made as the cop might have arrived on site after you left for the hospital contacting the county police station would help you. good discription of car / truck would help getting that person as they sometimes investigate with garages too to notify if they had any body come for repairs with that vehicle ... i guess u knw what i am talking abt

File a report at the police station, and then call your insurance company.

alot depends on your relationship with passenger,he could SUE YOU then split the money -its risky and illeagle but it would not be the first time attempted
