I'll tell you what though, that Italian guy got knocked out in front of 1 BILLION PEOPLE. Back where I came from, he would have a nickname by now.

It wasn't what he said, it was how he was holding him during that play. It pissed him off. The stakes were high and when it hit him, he popped. Imagine trying to breathe getting out of water but someone held you down as a joke, what would you do to him after you got air? Some people snap and pop. Obviously one of those people is Zidane. It's the world cup. i'm sure many of them were stressed.

Materazzi spoke to Zidane in Italian. Which Zidane understand becos he performed for Juventus ! So Zidane does understand !!!! besides Fifa is searching into this remember. If it became completely a Zidane issue, why will they check out it. And that Materazzi guy also admits that he DID INSULT Zidane. yet he claims that it became no longer some thing everyday. It became stated 10 circumstances in on the pitch and no one cares. yet he did not say precisely what it became. So the question is, WHY? Why he did not clarify himself? Lamer..

i dont know for sure but what i heard was like, something like
'you're just one of the dogs that italy raised' or something
that probably pissed him off and made him do a headbutt
still, he needs to control his temper
