Frequent urination is also a PMS sign. High progesterone levels in the second half of your cycle is what causes this. It could be that you ovulated late in your cycle....and it could also be that you are pregnant.
Some women won't get a positive result on a pregnancy test for even 2 weeks after their period is due

You might just be testing early. I have used Equate with several of my pregnancies without a problem. Every woman and every pregnancy is different. A low hormone count at this point isn't necessarily a bad thing. It could just mean you ovulated and conceived later in your cycle than other women. I would test again in a few days if you haven't started. Maybe try Clear Blue Easy instead.

If you are about 14 days post ovulation, the result should be pretty accurate. The pregnancy hormone does take a little longer to be detected for some women than others, though, so you might want to try waiting another couple of days and test again or go get a blood test which can detect the pregnancy hormone a lot sooner than hpts. Are you having any other early pregnancy symptoms (tender breasts, nausea/morning sickness, food cravings/aversions, headaches, fatigue...)? I know Equate tests are A LOT cheaper than others, but First Response tests can detect lower levels of hCG than others. Check out www.peeonastick.com to see which levels of hormones are detected for different tests.

Okay for Equate you have to be 2 WEEKS late for it to pick it up at least! I know this I used it for both my pregnancies and got told NO when yes I was...I reccomend First Response, it is by far the best one out there...good luck! Also WAIT a little while longer...I know its hard to wait but try wait for a few days and try again, stressing out will make your period late.

Try another brand like first response.
Better still wait for atleast 3-4 days before trying again. Don't stress about it, though it hard not to . Do go to www.babycenter.com for information
All the best

If I was you I would try First Response they should give you a pretty accurate answer. And I think most HPT's are good at one day after your missed period.

It's probably not the pregnancy test, it's likely one of two things. Either you're not pregnant, OR you are just not far enough along fort he test to pick up any HGT.

It's not too early if you are that late. You are just probably not pregnant.
