No, you are not going to hell.

I believe what the Bible says about homosexuality exactly as much as I believe what it says about planting seed together and about wearing clothing of mixed fabric [Leviticus 19:19]. I accept that the Bible is correct about being gay in exactly the same way that I accept what it says about committing genocide in god's name [Joshua 10:40-42 and Joshua 11: 18-23]; about god accepting a human sacrifice [Judges 11:30-39]; about a successful land sacrifice (looking EXACTLY like the land sacrifices being offered by other pagan kingdoms) [II Samuel 21] and about god causing cannibalism among the people [Deuteronomy 28: 53-59].

The Bible is a book full of historical errors [We now know that Jericho was abandoned for hundreds of years before the story of its seizure by the Israelites, additionally, we know that it was NEVER walled. The battle of Jericho never took place therefore], biological errors [Leviticus 11: 21-23 -- locusts have six feet of course], and mathematical errors [Numbers 3:16-39 -- add them up yourself, 300 more than the Bible totals the numbers to].

So the short answer is no, I don't believe what the Bible says -- about homosexuality or anything else. The earth does not sit on pillars [I Samuel 2:8] nor is it established atop the waters [Psalms 24:1-2]. It does not have corners [Isaiah 11:12], nor do there exist treasuries of the air -- though that is not an uncommon thought in the days that the bible was written [Psalm 135:7].

The Bible has little to do with historical Christianity (the canon of books was not established until after the Council of Nicea and not finalized until the Council of Carthage). Christianity is all about following Christ, not about following a book. You need have no worry about what a bronze age book of myths says about anything. You are not going to hell, even if one exists.

Kind regards -- and email me if you need to talk,

No. God is love. Straight, bisexual, lesbian, and gay people all love. That good and bad thing is what gets you in trouble with the after life.

Ignore the people that say they know anything about this, they are not God and therefore do not know what God thinks. Ask God if you want to know.

And there are bisexuals. For that other ignorance you had to read.

1. I'm sorry if someone else told you that "You were going to hell" for anything. It is not anyone's place to put moral judgment on another person. As a Christian I am a servant of God. Since (my belief's are that) God claims all people as his children, I would be judging another Man's servant.

Bottom line: If a Christian has a "problem" with what another person is doing, i.e. a "sin". The Christian needs to bring it up with God through heartfelt prayer.

Especially on account that all humans are sinners and the Bible has something to say about minding your own affairs first.

Mat 7:3 "And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?"

On the topic of homosexual acts, the Bible is very specific. I am putting this in here because a lot of people are confused about what the Bible actually says:

Lev 20:13 "If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood [shall be] upon them."

So the Bible does condemn homosexual acts as sinful. But thankfully our sins can be washed clean:

Rom 5:21 "That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord. "

I also want to comment on "Hell". I am not a biblical scholar, so treat the follow accordingly. It is my belief that "Hell" as a place of everlasting torture does not exist and is a misinterpretation of the Concept of "Sheol" the Hebrew version of the underworld, and another verse:

Rev 14:11 "And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. "

It is my understanding that the "Smoke" rises forever and ever. NOT the torment continuing forever and ever.

God calls you home by name. Try talking to him. He misses you. You don't need to be perfect to talk to him. I know I'm not.

Anyhow, that’s my two cents. God Bless.

That's discrimination. You can't be fired solely on the basis of your sexual identity. I don't think God is any worse than a boss. So I don't think He'll boot you to hell for being bi. (I hope our sexuality isn't a one-way ticket away from the Pearly Gates - otherwise I'll see you in hell)

I alot of people feel that if you are gay your going to hell. I don't believe that to be true. All sins are the same to God stealing, killer and adultery to name a few. Read your Bible the biggest sin to land you in Hell is worshiping another god and not God. Even if you are gay still believe in God. He knew before you that your bi and God still loves you anyway no matter what. I'm not gay but christian woman here to tell you keep believeing in God .

You're not bisexual. You're gay. And no, you're not going to hell. But you'll be stuck in a living hell as long as you don't accept yourself for who you are and enjoy life. Be decent to others and to yourself, and God won't care about much else.
