I've been a life long Superman fan. I've been reading the comics for nearly 27 years. Superman never had a good movie until. The originals were cheesy and dumb. This one was pretty good. The guy playing Superman was perfect. My problems with the film were: The damn kid. Superman doesnt' have a damn kid, he can't have one, what with him being an alien and all. Lex Luthor. Not really the super genius evil multi billionarie that he is in the comics. At least Spacy was better than Gene Hackman.

There were no other interseting characters besides Super Man. This is why the movie kinda suked, I was expecting Superman face some one of his caliber, but instead he just kept on rescuimg people from freak accidents. There was no competition, You'd think that Lex Luthor been so rich and all, could of come up with some type of super strong mutants, or powerful robots to take on Sup, but instead theres was no showdown, any super hero movie should always have a worthy antagonist. Not just a human with kindergarden ideas, like Lex was.

I think Lex Luther is my favorite character in the new Superman Movie. Kevin Spacey does evil, extremely well.
