I don't know. I've seen it a lot here. Ppl ask what I would consider honest questions about another race and a good part of the respondents accuse them of being a raciest. I think it is pathetic that some people think they need to be so politically correct that they pounce on anyone who asks a question about another race. How can you find out about an unknown without asking questions. Some people are way overly sensitive.

Political Correctness.
The mere thought that you don't understand a person of another race is racist. If you haven't taken the time to learn about your fellow man than you obviously don't care enough about them, and therefore you are a racist. How can you not care enough about another race to learn about their race? You must think that you are so great that you are the only race that matters.
If you really want to show that you care about another race, ask them questions about them. Get to know them. But don't do it in a racist way!!

I wouldn't say it's racist. But basically, when ask a question about a race you're grouping a whole race of people together like they're all the same (ex. Why do black people ...?). Everyone is different.

- You need to understand that being racist means only that you are classifying a race by itself. Racist in its basic term has no actual offensive meaning. Though I'm probably guessing that your friends probably called you a racist as a joke.

It's the way the question is asked that offends people. Sometimes people just ask questions that reflect such ignorance and stupidity. May be if people would stop believing stereotypes that the media dishes out. Take the time to find the truth BEFORE you ask stupid questions.

I don't think that you are automatically labled a racist; maybe it is the question it's self that because of lack of knowledge comes across as a racist statement or a racial stereotype.

Because people are essentially drama queens all around. They love gossip and stirring **** up. They want to be able to cause controversy by saying you're a racist. I agree with you though, people are too sensitive sometimes.

Greatly depends on how the question is addressed and what's indicated. Remember its not always what you do, but how you do it; that makes all the difference.
