hey does an ipod nano 4GB play videos?

i am deciding between 4GB and 30GB for my ipod

i mean really who is goig to spens 1700 dollars on songs!

actually nanos can play videos! there is this software that u can donwload to yur nano for free online (its free but complicated) but i forgot the name of it but my freinds have it. the problem is it wont play itunes vidoes.

but if u want one that is less complicated get a video.

The nano does not play videos as sold by Apple, however I have seen where a few smart folks have modified the software on the nano to make it possible.

One thing they may not mention when buying an iPod Video is that the batteries don't last very long playing a video. But they are cool. If most of what you want is to listen to songs the nano is hard to beat because it is much smaller, and it isn't so fragile like the bigger ipods are, because it has no moving parts.

a 30GB or 60GB video ipod are the only ipods that can play videos...and i have a 30GB and i havent spent a dime on songs...i just uploaded songs from my cds and downloaded music from Limewire

No ma'am. Only the regular sized newer iPods play videos. It's really a great feature, I find myself using the video feature quite a bit.

no only the video i pod does which either comes in 30gb or 60gb too bad though but the screen is so small it would be quite hard to see the video clear.

you should get the video one for that! if i had a choice i would have gotten a video one. but the nano is really cute and easy to handle, plus you cant take a bulky thing like that jogging.

nope sorry only the 30 or 60 gig have the space to store and play video.

it doesnt
