Depends on whether or not Papelbon stays healthy. Red Sox win it then. The Jays will have their fates decided at the deadline and if Burnett stays off the DL. They could push for it.
I told all my friends at the beginning of the year (all Yankee fans, I'm the lone Met fan) that the AL East is a 3 horse race that the Yankees could very well lose. As of now, I'm BEAMING.

The Red Sox. They are definitely the more complete and injury free team than the Yankees and Blue Jays. The Yankees and Blue Jays both do not have enough pitching and have been too inconsistant.

I'm saying the Blue Jays, mainly because B.J. Ryan will end up better than Papelbon this year. Eventually he will hit the rookie wall, and find some struggles. If Burnett can stay off of the DL, they have a great chance. Halladay, Lilly, and Burnett are the best top 3 of a rotation in the AL East. Vernon Wells is the best outfielder in the AL East as well, and Troy Glaus is a great power hitter.

Yankees are washed up and overspend unwisely. The Red Sox are the Patriots of baseball. Red Sox, hands down. I hate both teams by the way.

the red sox will win the eastern div cause they are for now injury free and they have been wiining more then they have lost and they have a good bullpen for the most time and have the willto keep winning and have the spirt to win it all agian like in 2004 go red sox and i have see n the outher teams ny or the jays are second ill give them credit where ist due we all as base ball fans know that and thats the bottom line cause the red sox fan says so
