life doesn't have purpose, per say. For someone to think that
every person has a reason for being here is absurd. The lucky
ones find a purpose. The rest of us try to find meaning however we can. There is no deep mystery to life. People want to believe there is, however.

I won't (and can't for that matter) force this on anyone. But I have found the purpose.
I don't think there's a purpose. I KNOW there is a purpose.
The real purpose involves more knowledge and wisdom than I will ever know in this life. And that's part of it, continual growth.
It's becoming the person you have the potential to be, while helping others to become the the person they really want to be.
Taking part in the creation of life and completely sharing yourself with someone you love. Raising a family and living and growing with them for all eternity.
Anyone who is completely honest with themselves knows deep down there's a purpose.
The search for the purpose is necessary. Because without self realization it doesn't have any value to you.
*The purpose of life is the pursuit of happiness.*
P.S. Without Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ this pursuit fizzles out very quickly.

Life has no purpose at all apart from God. No wonder you are depressed. God wants you to be happy, start a relationship with Him by believing that He sent His Son to pay the penalty for your sins. Read John chapter three in the Bible and then go to www.cclough.com to get the free info on MP3's. You will be astounded to actually find a purpose and goals for your life.

the purpose of life is "for a man to find a woman, for a woman to find a man, the creature most unlike you, and then to make babies with her, with him, or to find them some other way, but then to raise them up, and watch them do the same thing, generation after generations, so that when you die you know you are permanently a part of the great web of life. That you are not a loose thread, snipped off. It is a will for species to survive with the self inside it, part of it, tied to it, forever one of the strands in the world."

the purpose of life? perhaps the purpose is to look for a purpose. how can anyone really know? if there is such a thing as purpose, i suspect it's different for each person.

you would think that life would make its purpose to live. And that defining what it is to be alive would be the worry.
