If the inheritance is from another person, it would depend upon the will of the deceased child. With no will, the state of Texas could claim the deceased child's estate. If the state of Texas has a law to allow the next of kin to take the entire estate, it would go to the parents because parents are considered the next of kin. If the child is under 18, it would go to parents.

If both parents are alive, their inheritance is a 50/50 split.
If one parent & siblings survive, then it is split 50% parent & 50% between siblings.
This is Texas law. Hope it helps.

If there is no will, and no children, I believe immediate family, parents, brothers and sisters would inherit their estate.
