hi ive got a problem my daughter did have free ntl in her room but i rece3ntly finished my contract with them and they came and took her box now she has the NTL line in her room but no reciever im wondering if i buy her a freeview box can she use the NTL line as an aeriel as she has no other line in her room?

No, the NTL line was connected to the cable supply, not an ariel. You can get decent indoor ariels for about £20 if you can't afford an outside ariel; they're about £100 fitted.

No you cannot use the NTL line for Freeview. For Freeview to work you need an external aerial, unless you live in a good freeview reception area when you might be able to use an indoor aerial.

BQ: i've got been a fan considering i became 12 years old, now i'm 17 years old and incredibly, I even have WORLDS greater know-how of boxing than the different persons in my age team. I became drawn to boxing by ability of massive call boxers, Mike Tyson became between the 1st actual boxers I knew formerly i began out to easily shop on with boxing. It became merely too undesirable i did not have a guess to strengthen up watching packs of legends like Ali, Leonard, Duran, etc. BQ2: I by no ability rather had the prospect to attend any professional suits because of the fact I come from an extremely undesirable kin background yet I did attend some novice fights at my gymnasium with some aspiring Olympic opposition. BQ 3: demanding question, Roberto Duran has consistently been my idol of the sport so i might like to confirm him against the two Sugar Ray Robinson(at Welterweight of direction), Henry Armstrong at gentle-weight and Welterweight or Manny Pacquiao at gentle-weight.

The cable might be good enough to act as an aerial, but i doubt it, most freeview boxes require a decent outdoor aerial.
Why not see what reception you get on normal T.V by pluging it into the aerial socket, if its a good clear pic it might work.
NTL are scum, they have an appalling record.

take the end of the cable and plug it in to the areiel slot and you will recieve some channels but it wont work as an ariel sorry you could try argos for a cheap indoor aeriel tho
