A wormhole is merely a distortion of space-time in order to connect to another point. So I suspect you would simply arrive at the other destination.
If a wormhole requires a funnel effect, then you'd see distortion before you reached the actual window, which would also have distortion on the outside.

The wormhole is really just extra space, so there isn't neccesarilly anything in there, just empty space. Also, wormholes tend to collapse rather quickly (due to "negative energy", which is alot like vacuum energy), but they can be kept open by pouring a great deal of energy into them. To keep open a wormhole about a meter wide, you'd only need as much energy as the sun puts out in a million years -every second-.
So when you created your hypothetical wormhole, it would have to be unimaginably, blazing hot inside and swarming with plasma.

I myself have mapped thru logic and Quantam like thought to a lower level logic of a dog, I saw/sensed thru the eyes/sensors of a dog in my hood, dogs perceive everything as frequency, even their boundries are geometric freq fence of sorts that prevents most dogs from running away, logic mapping into other dimensions is real, but 2d linear logic scoffs at this idea, and is dismissed by a large percentage of the populace who do not know how to logic map their way to 4th dimensions and beyond. There is a brave new world out there and it is so close that one cannot see it until opened up by logic. but this can cause nausea and severe headaches when this is done. I assure you I am not nuts, there are established universities who teach this kind of stuff, psychic universities if you wll, but they do not advertise as such and one only gets admitted by dispalying high levels of 4th dimesion logic capabilities, as far as what you will find in a worm hole? its as varied and endless as space its self

Very debated sort of thing ....
And you have heard and seen much mentioned about the insides of one .... well .. if you read or watch much science fiction at all. It is almost an over used theme now.
