all the guys i know think i don't know football.... but i do.... why are some of the convinced that we women like soap-operas....and hate football..... i don't watch soap-operas and love football...

I love football and would laugh at anyone who tried to tell me I know nothing of football. I think some men get intimidated by women who know more than them so they try to put us all in this stereotypical box that says we can never know more about a sport than them. It simply isn't true. I know a lot of men who think they know football but obviously do not, so when they get corrected by a female then it emasculates them. (which is funny) Keep loving football and just laugh at the idiots who wish you didn't know as much as you do.

I used to be one of those women who didn't like football, but that's before someone took the time to tell me about it. Now me and one of my best friends which is also a female have gone to 2 pro-football games last season alone. We really plan on going to more or at least I do. It's a male bonding thing and they prefer to keep it that way I'm sure. I think that it also helped us become interested is that we have a pro-football team here.

I hear yeah girlfriend!! I LOVE Football... I get laughs at me all the time when I am in to the game.. lol specially when its one of my favorite teams (not many but a few) anyway... I think men can't comprehend we are capable of knowing something more then they do.. lol I also think men find it secretly attractive that a female is into sports specially when they can watch or go tot he games together... so don't worry over it hun... the females no-a-days are NOT sit around and take care of the children anymore... we like to have just as much fun as the men... Some guys are the victims of hype and stereotyping and have the tendency to get caught up in their own BS. Don't you be the same. There are lots of guys who 'know' there are women who like football and don't watch soaps. Don't worry about it. Guys and girls can make themselves and each other crazy trying to read each other.

I don't think, But ladies also but the limits for themslves. All female I know thinks the dancing and swimming is good to them. I didn't hear any lady talk abot hersels as footballer....
