I keep having this dream that I'm on a escalator to heaven.
I go quite a distance up then the escalator stops.
I'm in the clouds I can see light above me.
Darkness below.
I'm confused what I should do or what this might mean.
Should I keep walking up into the light and clouds ?
or
Should I walk back down into the clouds of darkness ?
or
Should I just wait to see what happens ?
What is the right thing for me to do ?

First of all, since it is a dream, there's nothing you can do about it.
About the meaning of it, I think it means that you are undecisive about something in your real life. Maybe you are torn between two paths, maybe the good one and the bad one. That's why you see light and darkness in the dream.
Also, it could mean that you want to follow a certain path or desire (light) but you are afraid and that's why the escalator stops and you look down and see the darkness (the path that you don't want to follow).
So maybe you can do something about your real life (not the dream). You have to make a decision! Good luck!

Well, it IS a dream. You must keep that in mind. It could represent something totally different in your life. An escalator could mean a business advancement (hence the moving up) It doesn't necessarily have to represent heaven. Have you recently found yourself at a stand still with something in your life? Your dreams could just be playing out your days in a more creative fashion.

That is a cool dream, I wish I had dreams like that! I would interpret it to mean that God is giving you a choice, you can go to the light or go to the dark, in your life you need to choose the light. Choose the things of God and live in a right way that is light and not darkness. Make the choice of Salvation in Christ!

You should wait and see what happens because it is just a dream, after all. It could also mean that you have come to a crossroads in your life and have to choose between following God (the light) or Satan (the darkness).

How do you know it's heaven? Personally I would choose the light.
