yeah, i saw them play cardiff and they were great.

Yes they're from Pontypridd in the Rhondda valley in South Wales. E4 Music did a programme on them last week (shown on Channel 4 too) - maybe you can watch it again via the website.

My old friend Michael plays drums, I knew he liked his music, then i moved away and hey presto - there is all famous and all!

Very chuffed for him i was too. Not bad for vicar' son (not so rock and roll eh?)
