It's your CMOS battery. It looks like a little watch battery on your motherboard. Change it out, and your clock will work correctly.

the likely cause of the problem is the CMOS battery on the motherboard. change that and you solve your problem...make sure your pc is off and unplugged first...and avoid static electricity when coming in contact with the motherboard.

dont want to fry the PC boards inside with static shock.
if your not a techie. . take it to Comp usa. .who will charge you like $40

It sounds like your battery is dying. It's rare but sometimes the battery in your tower will go dead.
