Like breathing and your heartbeat, living is a neuro-biological automatic imperative. You have very little choice in it. Some people think they have a choice; they are dead.
Is there a grander purpose? It would be nice if there was one. We will all find out one day. I wouldn't rush to find out if I were you.
The great thing about being human is that if no purpose exists, we can make one. We can look to the stars, and dream of exploration, just as some looked at the seas and saw new horizons.
we can look into another's eyes and see a purpose in life as we experience love and its bliss. We can see our children, and feel the satisfaction of our loins and the fulfillment of one of our genetic imperatives: propagate our genes and the species.
So, you have a wide array of choices. We exist cause we have no choice. But because we have no choice does not mean we cannot make a purpose.

I remember reading somwhere that according to what the bible says , God created human kind for a specific reason., and that is to prepare us for the after life. In other words we're here as mortals to learn and prepare for what the possible eternal life we'll have after death or after Jesus returns to earth. Cause apparently where i read Gods plan for human life was not to die at all. But because our first parents Adam n Eve rejected Gods gift of eternal life human kind has sinned ever since and because of it cursed us which eventually resulted in death. So blah blah i dont know basically from what i understood of it our purpose here is to fulfill Gods plan in receving eternal life after human life.

Human beings are created with the capacity - and the need - for relationship with their Creator. Without a connection with God, we aren't really alive. "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." It's like you're already dead, but knowing Jesus is life-giving, like being born a second time. Eternal life begins now: it is the kind of life Jesus lived as he walked on earth, demonstrating the love of God through teaching, healing and works of compassion. Jesus said, "Anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these."

" We are here to ruin ourselves, and love the wrong people"
Nicholas Cage....quote from the movie Moon Struck.
I think I've spent most of my adult life trying to figure that out...and maybe the reason is to seek the answer rather than know the answer.

I believe we are here on a mission. I also believe we don't have just one mission, but one mission at a time. Once we have accomplished a mission, we get another one. Usually it is to help somebody.
