Because supposedly, its the woman's choice and HER choosing to kill her baby is better than someone else doing it, I don't know why though, its not as if the baby gets any choice either way.

You have stumbled upon one of the many logical enigmas caused by the implementation of liberal social policy. A strict, fair, and logical interpretation of our laws would declare one or the other hypocritical but alas, we do not interpret all laws in such a way. The answer is abortion is legal because the American public has been deceived into thinking that abortion is about rights. It is not. It is about life and death and we need to start seeing it that way so our laws can be fixed and we can end this hypocrisy in the law. A murderer is charged with a double homicide because the mother is assumed to have wanted to keep the child. When abortion is not the issue, a life is seen for what it is, a life. Any time abortion becomes the issue people begin to think in terms of rights instead of life and death.

I ask myself this question too. It seems like we have a double standard in America. I'm guessing many women who have had abortions said things like "Oh my god, I can't believe he killed that woman and that poor baby." It's funny that when a woman wants to murder her own child, it's fine but if someone murders a pregnant woman they get charged with the murder of the baby as well.

depends and lacy Peterson was probly 6 month past pregnant and i do believe that's considered murder at a certain point in which the baby has developed

dont even get me started on this question.. abortion is completely wrong to me no matter what stage the baby is in.. it is MURDER but all you people who want to tell yourself it isn't just so you dont feel guilty go ahead... just wait till you have an abortion and it messes you up so you can't have anymore children when it's "convenient" for you.. or when you do have a child and they find out you murdered their older brother or sister.. picture yourself having to tell them how you didnt want them and they werent good enough.... if your responsible enough to have sex you sure as hell better be responsible enough to have a baby... things happen... not even birth control is 100% safe... dont punish the baby cause you couldnt keep it in your pants.
To answer your question.. I dont know why they are different.. but its wrong.

Because abortion is legal. Not much you can do about it. And the courts don't find abortion as murder. And the scary thing is that Scott peterson is my hubby's Frat Brother. And yes he believes that he did kill his wife. And he hopes he frys!!!!

Good question. Unfortunately it's all about attitude. If the mom wants the child, it's murder. If not it's rationalized into something else.

i have no clue but the woman should be charged with murder cause she is murdering her child. but also relize could u live with ur self if u make it to heaven and ur baby ask u this question
"why did you murder me mommy? diid you not love me enough? was there something wrong with me? why mommy why? I LOVE YOU why didnt you love me?"

It's not automatically 2 deaths, it depends how far along she is and what state its in. Same as abortion.

yea its true thats a good question i wont abort but they need a law sayin any woman who aborts serves 9 months in jail or prison idk becuz a baby is in the belly 9 months and is abruptly killed 3 months so it should be a law
