Step 1: Go to local grocery store and purchase as many rolls of aluminum foil as you can afford. Step 2: Tear off a sheet of the foil and wrap around head. Step 3: Repeat step 2 until you no longer believe in any of the following: 2012, Alien abduction, US Government being behind 911, The gunman on the grassy knoll, Bigfoot, Cold Fusion. Note: You should also notice a sharp decline in the urge to watch the E! network. Once step 3 is complete, you will be free of all of the government's and aliens' mind-control waves. They're working together, you know. ;) Warnings: It may take more foil than the strength of your neck can support - the free energy devices of the alien base on the far side of the moon can boost the signal to several petawatts of transmission power. You may feel a slight tingling sensation as the foil attenuates the signal. We strongly recommend that you leave air holes for continued access to oxygen. Do not taunt happy fun ball.

Actually the reason your head aches is because your brain is fighting off the microwaves that control some of us.When you put the tin foil hat on you allow the microwaves to be easily conducted to your brain, much like an antena. If you want to escape the mind control you need to line the hat with a thin layer of melted lead.(make sure the lead is cool before you put the hat on) Good luck!

Yes, there is a connection. When you put the tinfoil hat on, you are establishing a direct connection between your brain and the Zetons, a benevalent, but alien race from the third star in the Orion constellation. Make sure you keep the hat on, or there will be serious repercussions (like your eyeballs will melt!).
Cheers.

Your tin foil hat is just too heavy. A thin layer is good enough to keep the Rosicrucians and Illuminati from controlling you.

Maybe the mind control aliens are telling you to put the tinfoil hat on so they and the rest of us can have a good laugh. After all if these aliens could really control your thoughts and if tinfoil hats could stop them wouldn't they have simply kept us from thinking about tinfoil hats in the first place.
