Venice (Venezia) really wants no introduction, see ways to get there with hotelbye . This town is a fabled destination for centuries. Only the name Venice will do to conjure up a bunch of pictures, actually for people who have not yet collection foot in Italy. From gondoliers in striped tops to the Rialto and the Bridge of Sighs, bad balls, wonderful barges, courtesans in gondolas and failing palaces experiencing roads made from water Venice is an amazing city. When the only link over the Grand Canal, Rialto Bridge scars the location of the island's first settlement, called Rivus Altus and has become one of the plenty of place that Venice needs to offer.

Harry's Bar, The Bridge of Sighs, The Doges Palace, St. Marc's Bassilica, the bridge of Tears, the Murano glass works, Plaza San Marco, Cassanova's house. There is a lot to see and it's all great.

Venice itself will show it all to you - the Rialto bridge, the waterways, the gandolas, the houses, the piazza, the venetian glass blower shops, shoes, leather - just walk around Venice - it's not that big - you will run into all this.

Oh, and don't forget to look at the gorgeous men... and women.
