A couple of tablespoons of Brewer's yeast fresh from a health food store mix in OJ every AM or time release Vitamin B complex, fresh strawberry facial, a clay mask once a week to tighten your pores , eat more fresh fruits and veggies and whole grains. Don't touch your face during the day' wash your hands before washing your face, double rinse your laundry, change pillow cases daily, use white cotton. Pat your face dry with a clean towel ,never rub. The best thing you can do for bad skin if you use foundation is to stop using it once your skin clears and starts to glow you'll never go back, witch hazel on a cotton ball is a great asringent. put some in a baggy to freshen up during the day. use clearasil and proactive products (costco has a generic of the same thing for less.) are great, use a night time acne cream too.Get an antibiotic treatment from your family doctor if all else fails and if he wants to refer you to a dermatologist go.

gosh. I just read many of the answers you've gotten, and i dont know why anyone would want to be so harsh on your skin!

you have to keep a good skin routine up. wash morning and night, with a cleanser that is suited to your skin type. Try clean & clear or clinque. Always follow with a toner if you've got oily skin, and also a moisturiser. Even if your skin is oily it still needs moisture!

Drink water.. about 2 litres a day. treat your skin with a mask once or twice a week, and used a pimple treatment like neutrogena every day to zap those zits

hope i helped

If you're starting to have problems, then the best thing to do is to go to a dermatologist. Ignoring a worsening complexion, could have consequences that last a lifetime. For example, if you are starting to develop nodular acne, then there's a very good chance that it'll leave scars. So it's far more better to be seen by a dermotologist, who can identify exactly what the problem is, then treat it appropriately. That way your face will clear up much more quickly than using over the counter medicines (if they would even work), and hopefully you going to the dermatologist would have to be a one time thing. Best of luck to you.

I had really bad skin until I was about 28. I think I was over cleaning it which is bad for sensitive skin. Then I started using aveno clarifying foaming face wash, once in the morning and once before bed. Now my skin is almost flawless with the occasional pimple. I hardly wear any make-up.

Also...keep your hands off your face. I used to put my hands on my face a lot. Your hands are dirty and oily most of the time. AND DRINK LOTS OF WATER.

Make a paste of baking soda and water in your hands and scrub your face with it...then rinse. Follow that with hydrogen peroxide on a cotton round. The baking soda is exfoliating, and the peroxide disolves oil. I used this method for years before I finally found Proactiv.

It works, but you must do it two times a day religiously.

Don't use rubbing alcohol!!! That just promotes more oil production because you are drying out your skin!!

There are many products out there for everyone depends what type of skin you have is it damaged and how much you want to pay for the product if you have scars there are creams at the drugstores or you can consult with a dermatalogist. But to remove scars with creams sometimes takes a lot of months sometimes you need laser skin treatment.

I dont know...I've been trying to achieve clear skin for years now and I've tried evrything from a healthy diet and drinking lots of water to taking special pills and using creams perscribed by the dermatologist. Although, it does help to drink lots of water because water is good for the integumentary system.

Wash your face at least twice a day. Drink lots of water & eat healthy foods with plenty of fruits & veggies. Use an otc astringent after you wash if you like. Or just splash cold water on your face after bathing, to close the pores.

What you eat shows on your face. Drink lots of water, eat fruits, veggies and grains, and STAY OUT OF THE SUN. Sun does the worst damage to your face.
