NO WAY!! The very thought of Yankee fans switching conjures up images of Benedict Arnold. The Mets are like little dogs that won't let go of your pant leg, and you have to kick them off. The Mets and their fans are constantly looking across town at the Yankees to see how them compare, they have such an inferiority complex. Why would we switch? Because they have basically the same record as the Yankees, despite playing in an inferior league? One good thing about the Mutts, is that they have a true Yankee, Willie Randolph, running the team and showing how things are done the right way!

NO!! I am a die hard Yankees fan and they still have my full allegiance! In my book, switching teams to pull for the Mets is in the same category as switching teams to pull for the Red Sox. Something that any good Yankees fan would never even consider.

No, many die hard yankee fans are now white sox/ tiger fans because they have the most wins at this point. I do not think that a true yankee fan would ever be a mets or red sox fan.

No!! Some of them have had an epiphany and have woken up and now root for a real team--The Boston Red Sox. They would never defect to the Mets because the Mets are as bad as the Yankees. They will stumble the second half and may even lose their division.

Have to call them as I see them.

As a New York City resident and diehard Met fan, I have observed a very obvious increase in people wearing Mets apparel and talking about the Mets as the team in NYC. I have also noticed a striking decrease in Yankees apparel being worn around the city, and sold in stores.

NYC is becoming Met-town again

No way! I'm a die-hard Yankee fan and I'm not switching to those over-rated Mets!

Probably.

There is no such thing as "a die hard" yankee fan.

fans of the yankees are only fans when they are "winning"....once they realize the yankees are now offically losers, they jump off the bandwagon.

New Yorkers are a front - runner city; they run to whoever is in first. They hate the Yankees as much as they claim to love them.

GO YANKEES!!!!!!!!! True fans will never switch to the other side! THERE ISN'T ANOTHER SIDE. SOME people are "unrealistic humans".
