Head -butted an Italian player (with force) in the chest after play had been moved to another part of the pitch. What was really bad was the timing...about 10 min. left in o.t. and one of Frances' best P.K. shooters...he let his country-men down...

materazzi angered him, as well as the rest of the italians. since zidane knows italians since he played in italy before, he was cursed at and insulted. especially by gattuso. he then head-butted materazzi after a some-name calling when zidane missed a shot then kicked ball out of field.

ZZ Top hit a guy with his head. At first they didn't want to call him because none of the refs saw it, but one ref came forward and said he saw the whole thing, so they red carded him.
