Java Virtual machine is too slow, is there another option to play yahoo games with Win XP?

using the Sun Microsystems Java is painfully slow loading, and tends to hang up frequently. Is there another Virtual Machine available? We play a lot of Yahoo! games like Spades and Literati on this computer.

Download and then run startup.exe at:

Can't live without it and windows...

Then disable and/or uninstall whatever u don't need.

Other things to try:

1 - Disk Cleanup (removal of temp files, cookies, etc.)
2 - Defrag
3 - Registry Cleanup (CAN BE VERY RISKY!)
