To all you liberals who said celebrate I say you are nothing but hyprocrates. So much for the party of Peace. Freedom of speach so long as you agree, right? It also scares me that life to democrates is cheap. Why don't you guys grow up.

When the Secret Service knocks on your door to have a chat about the wording of your post will you mourn or celebrate?
Best to leave political humor to the pros! The Secret Service frowns upon that!
And Yahoo will cough up your IRL like a hairball, warrant or no.

While I, as a Canadian, do not approve of many things that George Bush has gone ahead and done in the U.S.A, I would still be a little saddened that a life was extinguished from our world. I know there are all too many social programs that would love to see the end of the reign of the Republican Party, but I also know that most any other president would have cracked under the pressure that came about after 9/11. Despite some of the awful choices he's made, George Bush was not, and is not, THAT bad a president. I'm sure there have been much worse. If he was shot and killed, the person stepping into his place would be far worse... Cheney (spelling?).

Wow, lol. The answers posted here are examples of what happens when people don't take the time to READ.
I'm going to answer this in 2 parts. If he were shot and killed today, I would definitely mourn because that would mean that Dick Cheney would become President. Regardless of how I feel about George Bush, I don't particularly dislike him, but Cheney is scary. Just a little.
If there was a different VP, say Colin Powell or even Condoleeza, I wouldn't describe what I think my feelings would be as "mourning." I certainly wouldn't celebrate. It would be the kind of feeling you get when hear about a celebrity passing away and you weren't really a fan of theirs ...you feel a little twinge of something, but "mourning" is too strong of a word. I would not wish a violent death upon anyone and I would certainly feel sympathy for his wife, family and friends.

Are you a government spy trying to head off an assassination attempt via yahoo answers?? hee heee
You have a very misguided view of liberals. I am not a liberal, by the way. There are many people that are not satisfied with this administration liberals and conservatives alike.
President Bush seem like a nice enough guy. I don't think any one wants him dead. Hell I'd like to go out drinking and snort a few lines of coke with him.

Well I would not mourn or celebrate because the Iraq war would turn into an even bigger of a mess. I think that President Bush should resolve the Iraq war , not some other president. Killing can work sometimes to resolve problems but not in this case.

While I can't stand Bush, the thought of a presidential assassination is something I don't care to go through again having lived through the Kennedy assassination. Besides, if Bush were gone we'd have Cheney as president. As much it pains me to say this, Bush - yes, the war criminal - is the lesser of the two evils. I would never even think about celebrating the assassination of a leader no matter how much I can't stand them.

You should be arrested and locked away for the rest of your liberal brain dead life. And if anyone in your pathetic family feels the same way they should be locked up too, down to the mangy dog you treat better than an unborn child. There will be a website soon taking donations to get you communist losers together and flown to North Korea where you belong.

Neither, I do not like Bush the man or Bush the president but assassination is not good at all. I will be just happy in November to take my democratic vote to the poles and try to end the dictatorship and restore checks and balance to the government. Then in 2008 I will hope to vote in a democratic president and do away with repuglicans forever.

I would mourn. President Bush is a great man and a great President who led this country through the worst terrorist attack in history. Anyone who would celebrate someone's death has some serious issues of their own.
