A lot of laws are outdated and they need change. Change is unavoidable. If she didn't "change" them, I hope somebody else would've and will.

Law making is a part of that Liberty and Justice. The courts that you people gripe about when they find against your point of view are also part of that Liberty and Justice for all. Liberty is not a gift from George, and justice is not a privlege he grants us.

Liberty and justice FOR ALL by any means necessary. What part of liberty and justice for all seems to be a bad thing?

Sorry but if they hadn't changed the laws your African-Americans would still be campaigning for Civil Rights. Just because a Law has been written doesn't mean that it is cast in Stone. Even your Bill of Rights has umpteen Amendments (or did you think they were all added at the same time as the original document?).
So NO, I don't agree with you on this.

Oh I get it, only change the laws that are applicable to you but not for anyone else. Silly me, I guess we should just repeal a few of those troublesome little changes. After that I can go ***** shopping and also find myself a nice obedient woman to do my bidding and if she doesn't well then, I guess I'll just beat her until she understands who's the boss.
Jesus, gentle Jesus give me strength. I cannot believe that in this day and age we, the free peoples of the world, still have to hear this crap. Oh those pesky F*GS and D*KES, how dare they ask for freedom, equality and affirmation of their lives. Get over it girl, Gays, Lesbians, Blacks, Latinos, and all the others who for centuries have been denied, will be denied no longer. Deal with it.

The founding fathers knew that times would change and people would change. They knew they had to write a constitution that could change as the times and people change. Hurrah for them.
Times have changed over the years. The black community fought for their rights. Inti ally laws had to be changed to allow them their equal rights because people in general did not want to accept these changes.
We as Gay men and lesbians want equal rights. Since the laws do not allow this they must be changed, just as in any other fight for equality. This is the process the founding fathers came up with and it has worked very well for over 200 years

There will always be people that will challenge the laws as we know them. I feel that Rosie meant that change can happen for those who are dilligent. Many laws that were active do not make much sense today. It is up to you and I to determine what is correct and right for the time.

no i don't agree either. women's rights on voting were changed, african american's being freed from slavery was changed, children working in sweatshops was changed--how is this any different? LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL...it doesn't matter if they're a different race, sexuality, religion, age from you.
it really gets me mad when straight people come around, not only judging but insulting the gay community. you have your opinions and we have ours. so why the heck do you have to butt in with our lives? why do you care? you have your chance to be happy with the people you love so why can't you let us?

I do agree with you and wonder why we needed an amendment to end slavery if all men are created equal. The list goes on, and on..... women's rights to vote, Afro-Americans voting rights and civil liberties, etc.... and now gay marriage rights.
