Do you have a tatoo? If yes, what does it represent?

I have five.

1. A ladybug on my big toe. My ex-best friend's informal symbol was a lady bug. Everyone was always thinking she was so sweet, and religious, and perfect. When she screwed me over when we were 17, I got the tattoo to remind myself that people aren't always who they seem.

2. A tree frog on my hip. I got him as a celebration of taking the Bar Exam and becoming an attorney.

3. Two butterflies, gotten at different times, on top of my foot. Each one represents a time of metamorphosis in my life.

4. A phoenix on my lower back, covering a tattoo I had gotten when I broke up with the man I had hoped to one day marry. The phoenix represents the next phase of my life where I am more empowered to make my own decisions about direction, relationships, money, everything.

American flag tatoo with the star of life where the stars are. I consider myself patriotic, and the star of life is the symbol of paramedics. I have been one for many years. My tatoo means a lot to me. I wanted a tatoo that would represent something about myself and my personality that I would be proud of my entire life since I would have it on my body my entire life.

It's a rose and it represents my freedom. Growing up was I was the rebellious type.

Way too long of a list to go into but they represent my life story and those things I admire in life. Who I am, what ive done, what i like. Tatoos are a very sexy art form. Don't ever call a biker stupid for wearing his tho!! If ya don't want em, don't get em.

I have 5 all reasonably small not more than a couple of inches but still easy enough to hide for business meetings n' such.

Christopher = my son's name
Chinese symbol = big sister (my lil sis & I both got them, her's is the symbol for lil sis)
L.L.A.S = My best friend and I both go this low on our backs and means Love Like A Sister

The other two are just because I like them at the time and one of those I regret, so be careful!

My best friend and I have matching tats - it is an ahnk, which looks like a cross with a loop on the top. It is a symbol that means eternal life. I also have a daisy on my hip, that I got with thwo other friends. One petal is falling off, as we all lose pieces of ourselves over time, but we still remain beautiful because where we lose, we have new growth. And I have a Mickey head that I got covered up b/c after 10 years I HATED it!

I have a few. One is of my sons' name, I think that is self explanitory. The other is a heart with a guitar and mic crossed behind it. That is for my love of music. The other it an eye ball with two iris' it is from one of my favorite bands. the other is a burning star on my chest it represents my passion as a musician.

i have 5 tatoos. One represents my aughter (Winnie the Pooh), a 4-leaf clover (Good luck charm), I have dolphins on my stomach(it stands for my brother which died) and I have a Lebenese eye on my back for making evil spirits go away and keeps them away and a family tree on my arm, which presents my family.@ ladybugs for my children and a heart for my family with my husbands name. If you are getting one make sure it means something to you.

I currently have 3, my dolphin represents freedom and intelligence which are important to me. My panther represents the animalistic side that is in everyone and my four-leaf clover is for luck and my football (soccer) team.
