Believe it. Worst lineup in baseball, but great pitching staff. Dave Roberts is one of the nicest guys in the game. Watch the rest of the league succumb to the Pads . . . . . dude.

I am a Padres fan and I can't believe that. I'd love it to happen, but the chances they even make the playoffs are very tough.

what drugs are u on they won't even win the division (Dodgers will) they don't have any hitters that are any good and Jake Peavy has been sucking there pitching is not even that great . They suck. Also what the hell does Dave Roberts being nice have to do with anything. OHHHHH Dave Roberts is nice so the Padres are gonna win the world series. IN UR DREAMS.

Both of the west divisions in the AL and the NL belong in the minor leagues. Those are by far the worst divisions in baseball. If a playoff team out of any of those divisions wins a game in the playoffs that would truely be a miracle in it self.

too bad they don't give rings to nice guys.
Pitching staff is good, but they're made to look better by that huge park and weak division. Chris Young Should be an all-star.
Anyone can win the NL west. No one can advance beyond that point.
