Bush, Cheney and team lied about WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION in Iraq, how can Americans believe anything they say about Iran or N. Korea, now?

Should Americans trust George W. Bush after he has lied, to make any decisions about their government?

Who, in the Bush Administration, do you trust?

I don't particularly trust anyone in the administration but the stuff with Iraq should have been dealt with long before Bush was put into office.

After the first Gulf war, there were sanctions on Iraq (Saddam DID kill many innocent people with biological weapons, including innocent children) In 1998, he kicked U.N. weapons inspectors out, breaking those sanctions. President Clinton bombed Iraq in '98 (where was all of the protesting then?)

The United Nations dropped the ball. A country with a hostile leader that HAS used weapons of mass destruction on his own people, should be held to war sanctions or dealt with. The U.N did nothing when the inspectors were kicked out and Saddam didn't offer to let them in until after President Bush threatened war a good 4-5 years later. There was a very real threat that in that 4-5 years, he could have gotten more biological or chemical weapons.

The people of the United States should be asking who in the U.N we can trust and why will they fight harder against us than against a mass murderer like Saddam.

Yeah, we found WMD from the days when we have pics of our senators shaking hands with Saddam.

We found stuff from 20 and 30 years ago that have a half life of like 6 years.

Saddam said he didn't have any WMD, and the only stuff we found were expired WMDs from years before, so in actuality, Saddam was more truthful than Bush. Bush's lackies said they had "pictures" and "we know where they are hiding them". This is what we went to war on. Pictures and knowledge of where these weapons were. In addition, UN inspectors found what? So in actuality we had been told there were pictures which their was obviously not, and yet you Reps still come on here saying it was all made up by the media.

Talk about make up your own mind. It's like Bush writes the stuff himself and then you all give the same answers.

Well Neddie, I think the bigger question is 'how can the world trust Bush on what he says about Iran, N.Korea, or Israel after finding no WMDs that he swore existed?"

To answer your question for both the world and the American ppl simultaneously, trust is earned not given. And once a person/country loses trust they have to give double effort to regain it. Meaning we can't and don't trust him right now. That is why you are seeing other nations, such as China with N.Korea, stepping up to the role of leadership and taking over negotiations that we used to handle.

Also, Bush's attempt to destroy faith in the UN after the UN wouldn't back his Iraqi war has failed. We are watching the faith in the UN being revived with the UN supporting China's decision for N.Korean sanctions.

we didn't go to war for WMDs...

thats an ignorant statement, but only if you think its true...

we went to war (as INFORMED cons AND libs would know) because Iraq was harboring terrorists...

nobody reads the newspapers anymore...

and TV will lie to you and give you pictures out of context.

Terrorists...

NOT WMDs...

does anyone remember the speech Bush gave right after 9/11?

"If you're not with us, you're with the terrorists"

does any of that ring a bell?

Iraq was most DEFINITELY WITH the terrorists...

besides...the COMMON belief was that Iraq had WMDs...i challenge ANYONE to find a quote where bush said that we DEFINITELY knew about the WMDs...

However...Clinton did...
"The community of nations may see more and more of the very kind of threat Iraq poses now: a rogue state with weapons of mass destruction, ready to use them or provide them to terrorists. If we fail to respond today, Saddam and all those who would follow in his footsteps will be emboldened tomorrow." - Bill Clinton.

They can't and won't (hopefully) fall for it again. The main problem is that we are stretched THIN. All of our reserves have been called up, they're scraping the barrel on recruits, they've already tapped out the "back-door draft" (stop loss), and as of right now we have ONE combat-ready division in the USA. China could invade tomorrow and we'd be assed out unless we used nukes.

Which, by the way, is the only current viable option for attacking the next country Cheney spins the globe and puts his finger on.

Bottom line is that everyone that you could trust has resigned, been fired, or "suicided".

Uh, he didn't lie about WMD. And the truth has long been out there that not only did the WMD exist, but that every intelligence agency in the world was sure he still had a stockpile of them.

So your whole premise is based on the biggest lie of them all.

Doesn't that bother you?

he did not lie. stop and think for yourself before eating up whatever the liberal media serves you as your opinion. the weapons were there. there was an Iraqi general who was on CNN saying that he saw the weapons transported to Syria after and earthquake under the guise of aid. do your homework. form your own opinion. every piece of "news" you get is served up at someone's angle. read between the lines, or just keep eating up what you want to hear. it works both ways. i am a republican, and i can see how the white house spins things. be your own person, not a stooge. thank you for the points.

If you did your research before asking this question you would realize that there were WMD's in Iraq. Therefore, I trust everyone in the administration.

Hey, Needie-needs-a-brain, was Clinton, Kerry, France, Germay, Madeline Albright, et all, lying when they also declared that Iraq had WMD, and when we did find those war heads a few weeks a go as reported (yes, I know Keith Olberman doesn't believe it), was that also a ruse? MORON.

We found WMDs there in case no one told you! We found mustard gas, several war heads, and other weapons. Second, find me one politician who wasn't caught lying, (i did not have sexual relations with that woman). We can still trust Bush.
