My advice to you is to go to the ER if it is that severe. You can always keep your appointment at your doctor for a follow-up check. From the sounds of your symptoms, I don't think it's cancer. It could be anything really. Some ideas on what it could possibly be - an STD infection that has progressed, an ectopic pregnancy (inside the tube instead of the uterus), ovarian cysts, endometriosis, or really severe menstrual cramps. I'm not trying to scare you, but you want to make sure that you're taking care of yourself first and foremost. So, like I said, if it is SEVERE pain, go to the ER. If you've taken pain medication, used heating pads, or other things to try and help the pain and it's your last resort, go to the ER. Good luck!

I fear that I cannot tell you the one hundred percent thing to do, but if it were me I would wait until Thursday, unless it was so unbearable to the point where these pains come more frequently or you experience other side effects. There are also many girls who develop these sharp pains a week before there period starts. They only last minutes but it feels like forever. Remember I am NOT a doctor so if you feel you should go to the ER then go. I personally find that they do not do anything for you except slap you with a big bill. Hope you feel better.

You better go, why wait don't you want the paint to go away? It could be something very serious. Just because someone tells you ER will do nothing is not a reason not to go. That's why we have ER so you can get help even if it seem for ever you'll feel better to know someone is helping you out.

If your doctor doesn't have a x-ray in there then I would probably go to the ER so you can get a x-ray and have it possibly looked at by a orthopedic there. Then after the ER you may want to make a appointment with a orthopedic as a follow up on the injury.

It could possibly be that you are ovalating and in releasing an egg you are having these pains. Could be that you have a cyst on an ovary that can cause pain during ovalation. Best to see your doctor for this. Save the ER for emergencies.
Ibreprofen might help you till you see him/her.

if it stops you from doing ADL's (activities of daily living) then you should probably go to the ER or call your Dr back, if their not in the office they usually have a number you can call for non life threatening emergency's.
