just pick a year before or in 2006 and please tell why.

I wish I was born in 2006 for the reasons of the medical and technological improvements. Babies born in 2006 have had a much greater chance of living then just 30 years ago. The future holds a lot but as always, the future is not fixed.

Technology isn't the most important thing in life to me. I'd keep the same birth year.

I could build a boat like Thor Heyerdahl and sail to the coast of Brazil, bounce around the Caribbean. No taxes, no looming gods, no military, helicopters, prisons.

We come to value this life on concrete because we are so lame, we can't imagine the alternative to be better. The discourse begins with the assumption of "civilization".

1950, life seemed so simple . yes there was some tech . but not that complicated. ppl could easily b wowed by new things. we seem 2 have lost that feeling now.
