Jim Valvano. Everytime i hear his speech from the ESPY's i get teary eyed. I have never seen a coach as happy as he was to win a national championship, his enthusiasm for the sport was incredible. He left his heart on the court with his players, he lived and breathed through his players, and him running around on the court after beating Houston looking for somebody to hug was the epiphany of why college basketball should be loved.
