Most probably you believe that since some pets are scared of it, you could have gotten it from your pet if you have one. It could also be a sycologic case through nightmares e.t.c.
Also I think you need this story.
Once upon a time Thunder, who was a cruel and vacuous villain, lived with man. Life was horrible and unbearable, humans, insects and animals alike were unsafe. Then one day a warrior named Lightning came to their rescue. With his electric whip he sent Thunder back to the sky. So when he whips Thunder, Thunder shouts loud. Now don't be scared feel safe you can trust the prison of clouds and Lightning
As for spiders they are not poisonous, they do more good than bad e.g. if germ-less can help speed up clotting if you are cut, they catch pests. So don't be a fraidy cat and certainly not a fraidy spider!

Don't be afraid of spiders. They eat all the other insects that you really don't want around. Like mosquitoes, ants, earwigs, and the other gross bugs. Thunder and lightening are some of the most amazing things nature can show us. I love thunderstorms!!!

your'e probably afraid because of something that happened to you when you were young thier is nothing to be scared of with thunder and lightening unless its fork lightening then its something to be scared off as with regard's to spiders the only way to conquer this phobia is to get one in a jar so you can see it up close without it coming at you

It's a totally normal thing, trust me, I get scared by those things too. But it helps me to play a game or start up a nice conversation during storms. But when I am around spiders, I ask my brothers or dad to kill it!

Because you haven't got me there to protect you.
It's nothing to be ashamed of with being afraid of these things, you're not alone.
Still, if I was there you wouldn't be affraid.
