I have reason to believe that there IS an unusual connection between Africans and Asians, but I have far too much on my plate right now to look into it.

There are similaries between all races. We have far more in common between "races" than we have with people of our same "race".
If you follow the migration out of Africa when humans were redistributing around the world to populate it, the middle east and asian regions were the first to be populated. There are some south east asian islands where the inhabitants look far more "african" than "asian". There are the East Asians (Indians) who have a dark skin complexion and a blend of african and asian features.
Remember these changes took place very very slowly and gradually over a period of 80,000 years. Migration from the African continent began approximately one-hundred thousand years ago.
You cannot discount the migration of humans out of Africa across the globe.
Additionally, Black Americans (men & women) have features which resemble different cultures because of miscegenation. Keep in mind that Black Africans were brought to the USA as far back as the 1500's (that's 500 years ago!). Black Americans are blended with many different cultures, such as Native American Indian and Caucasian. There is also a direct link between American Indians and Asians from the Asian continent - they migrated across the land form called the Bering Straits "Alaskan-Russian Land Bridge" over thousands of years ago to the North American continent. And as such, there is a similarity between the features between Asians from the Asian continent, and Native American Indians.
Therefore, the similarity between Black Americans having "asian type" facial features is a direct result of the sharing of genetic traits between different cultures as detailed in the above information.

high cheek bones prominent facial structures
full lips, lovely hips, almond eyes....
all people of asian/african groups don't necesarily display those traits. all africans aren't members of the same ethnic group, There were at one time hundreds of african tribes speaking a huge variety of language and having thousands of combinations of various facial features and body types. east asia is the same, but with slightly less variation due to successful genocide programs or intermarriages through the ages. relatively recently they have stopped intermarriage between differing tribes and natonalities based on personal choice and societal pressure. Differing peoples were at one time a single group, but diverged soon after the mass confusion following a failed ziggurat to heaven project. The people who would later become indians, tibetans, thai, american indians, han, japanese, ainu, choson, etc. went one way and the people who would later become zimbabwe, zulu, egyptians, baka, and the hundreds of other differing african ethnic groups went another way.
I belive the similarities you noted between women of those two groups are the result of thousands of years of natural selection and breeding even among disconnected people that reinforces traits thought of as beautiful.

Last I checked all humans came from Africa origanally. The asians did go off before the people who later bacame known as caucasions. And just an interesting piece of info, they have actually found the mummified remains of caucasions in Asia from thousands of years ago. People are constantly migrating and breeding with the natives.

I don't think so. Asians are "Asian" because of the region they come from. Would you do the reverse and call black people "Black Asians"? Probably not... unless they were born somewhere in Asia.

There are alot of similarities but, there are alot of differences too. Notice asian asses are flatter (in most cases) and in males look at the height difference and stereotypical "penis sizes" (in most cases).

NO! But if you want to be technical about it, we are all Africans, since the human race started in Africa.
