An excellent question indeed! I have been incarcerated a number of times here in Michigan...and it is true that the jails have a ratio of 2/3 black to those who are white. The answer is also obvious...more blacks commit more crimes than the whites...and I think the reason for that is because the blacks are suppressed greater than are the whites. But, then again, the reason why they ARE suppressed greater than the whites, is because they simply don't have as must COMMON SENSE as do the whites.

You know what? At least when we commit crimes there is actually a logical reason behind it.

1. You're broke and need money RIGHT away - rob somebody.
2. Somebody is ******* with you or your family - protect yourself, even if it means killing the person (you have a legal right to do this)

Your statistics are bullsh!t, man I would respect you more if you at least gave a website or source. At least our crimes make sence. Not excusing crime, but we as a people don't do **** for no reason.

Why is it that a large percentage of white people SUCH AS YOURSELF commit damn near all the rapes, arsons, genocides, serial murders, family murders, and the like?

Yeah, I've been to jail. For practicing nunchucks in a park. Am I automatically a criminal? In your eyes, yes. But I reject your bullshit reality and substitute mine with the truth. People like you have no soul. You don't know **** about survival or hard work, because you get everything handed to you. You know, I thought it was impossible to be this stupid, but apparantly, I am sadly mistaken.

You would only ask a question like that because you are hiding safely behind your computer on your well-fed a$$. Like you've never broken a law? Who the ***** are you to judge people you don't even associate with? I hope something racist slips out of your mouth and you get stomped to a bloody pulp.

When you keep giving guys chance after chance to screw up, they will go back to jail. But seriously...
1) it's hard to find a job with a criminal record (rapping aside)
2) some view jail as a better place then where they came from
3) they have been commiting crimes since childhood and know nothing else
4) hard to get a fair trial when most of the potential jurors are white
5) racism in some cases
6) poor home life
7) it's hard for most when family members rotate out of jail
8) nobody tries to help them

Racism
which causes
Poverty which causes
Higher crime rates and
Less effective defense and
Jail time for (mostly) black men which causes
Broken homes which causes
Young boys growing up without fathers and
without mothers because
Mom's working three low-paying jobs because
she got kicked off welfare thanks to
"reform" which causes
Unparented kids growing up amoral which causes
Dangerous streets and
Some kids skipping school because it ain't safe to go
and because he can, but
what are you going to do on the street?
you better get
Tough and you better get a
Gun and you better join a
Gang, which threatens the next kid
so he better
and the only way out is basketball
(Ha! you got a better chance winning the lottery) or
Dealing which leads to
Jail where a barely adult kid who was just doing it
because he wanted out of hell
gets what happens to kids in jail
(Because we don't give a damn to prevent it,
they're criminals, aren't they, and anyway they're
Mostly Black)
and comes out
A Stone Killer and
Kills someone's father, brother, mother, last mentor,
last reason to resist
And over and over on TV the image
of the Angry Black Prison Grad
with scary tats and the kind of muscles you get
when you get tired of being the catcher
(not in the rye)
and a body count
and that Stone Killer look which causes
Fear and perpetuates
Racism.

That's funny; I just read on the FBI website that about 70% OF CRIME IS COMMITTED BY WHITES while only about 27% is committed by blacks. So, that means that white people keep breaking the law.

So, why do they keep breaking the law, huh, huh?

Check your facts, I don't think you are correct. However, some reasons for high incarceration rate might be lack of education, opportunities, and a vicious cycle of poverty. Not to mention racial profiling.

Maybe its because the police think that most to all black people are criminals (no thanks to television) because of this african americans are watched more often than any other race. It could be that all races commit crimes equally but the african americans are just caught. Not to mention that most people that are lower in the economic class have a harder time getting out of a crime at court.

maybe because 2/3 of the governments likes to talk about issues but never makes a serious step towards solving them for the betterment of blacks.
