Hey, why are we trying to get Yahoo Answer points? Are we, as a society, really that competive?

no, the points are just so that we don't just stay on the computer, for example:
level 2, you only have like 10 questions you can ask and you can answer 20, per day. that is so you don't stay on for a million years out of boredom, yahoo answers is trying to get you to go outside and go biking or whatever.

I just wanted to get to level 5 so I could answer and ask as many questions as I want. Now that I am there, I don't care about the points anymore. :)

I don't really care about the points. If I can help somebody with their question, is reward enough. The points are an added bonus.

Yes americans and other foreign people who have gotten used to america are now and will always be competitive on which country is better what food taste better cooking contests games computer swimming olympics and more things were just naturally competitive especially the mean people who know your better than them so they cheat!

Yes we are. However, I couldn't care less about the points. I just have opinions on many different subjects, and find this to be a good outlet.
