A navy suit or other subdued colour (black, grey, brown, beige etc) (preferably pant suit), crisp white blouse, black or brown polished shoes with a maximum heel of 2". Wear pantyhose, even if you are wearing slacks. Knee highs are acceptable.
Bring a briefcase with a copy of your application, resume and references and any examples of previous work or projects if applicable to the job at hand.
Wear your hair down or in a bun, make sure it is neat, polished and professional.
Polish your nails in a subdued, earthy colour. No bubble gum pink or hooker red.
Same with makeup. Ensure that it is subdued, natural looking and professional. Wear lipstick, in an earthy tone. Same guidelines as the nail polish.
Jewellery: again, subdued. A simply chain with one charm, a simple bracelet, a watch, no rings except engagement/wedding bands. Simple earrings, nothing too dangly or distracting.
The bottom line is to look professional, clean-cut, down to earth and not wild or out there, to make the best first impression possible.
I have conducted a lot of job interviews and the first impression is the most important when it comes to getting hired.
Be prepared, know about the job/company you are interviewing with and what you don't know, ask. It looks good to ask a couple of relevant questions.
Good luck!

Dress nicely but not too dressy. No jeans. No showing of belly buttons. No sandals. Don't show off tattoos. Don't overdo on the makeup. Don't overdo on the jewelry--take out any facial piercings until you know what the rules are. Best wishes for a successful interview, and I'll pray for you to get the job.

Be comfortable and professional. Make sure you can sit and not have to check your hemline, bend over and not check hem or the top of your shirt, or the bottom of your shirt. I honestly don't think a suit is that important. Neither is black. Everyone wears black. Try a different color.... still understated, but not black. Wear your hair off your face. All of it... No little tendrils on your cheeks... Understated earrings, rings, necklaces, etc... and if you wear a skirt, I would say to wear hose. Most important-- eye contact, posture and confidence.... Good Luck!

I think the number one thing is to look classy and sophisticated. You want to show your interviewers that you're serious about the job. Wear nice tailored pants...paired with some heels and a cute (but still classy) looking top with a jacket....or if you're more into skirts...wear a longer one.
I would avoid jeans, flip flops...etc.
Hope that helps!

A tailored pants or skirt suit. Look as professional as possible. Ask yourself, "If I was the boss and someone dressed like me walked in, would I hire her?" Even then make it more professional, don't give them any reason to turn you down. But don't go extreme keep the jewelry, shoes, and clothes professional and classy, don't over do it :)

A traditional style suit with plain pumps or semi-dress flat shoes. Do you prefer skirts or pants? I wouldn't wear too loud of a color either.
