Is there proof to your theory?
I think people accept to think that we evolved, because based on that theory you don't have to change you thoughts or ideas. When people have to change, they start questioning why. There is a lot of proof god created us but its not all physical proof, it spiritual. Think about it for a sec, lets say you start going to church and start living for god. Have you lost anything? No, but you will be a better person with higher morals and values.
Good luck on your quest, I hope you find the right path. The wrong path can be dark and lonely.

Unfortunately, there can never be any proof or answer to this question that will be accepted by everyone. The best scientific evidence (and only testable method) that we have has determined that evolution is the reason that humans are here, not god. Lovely_Emily's response that justified the existence of god based on two protiens, one in dirt and the other in humans, is a classic fallicy of logic called straw man (see Aristotle). I suggest that if you really want to have discussions about god and religion that you talk to some Philosophy Proffessors at a college.

I'm not sure on all the details but I have heard that the more deeply scientists get into quantum physics, the more it is proving the presence of an intelligent life force literally 'holding' the universe together.

Has something to do with subatomic particles and quarks and all the space between particles of physical matter. For example,
there is no real difference between you and the table lamp next to you on a subatomic level...the only perceived difference is that there is some sort of intelligent universal consciousness that chooses how to 'arrange' the particles to make them into a human or houseplant, fungus, solar system or speck of dirt, ect.

Like I said, I'm sure my details aren't completely accurate - so you may want to do your own research on quantum physics. But that's the bug going around - that the more scientists discover what our universe is made of; the more they find 'something' is making the universe the way it is - on purpose.

It's okay to believe in a universal consciousness without putting stock in the religious 'version' of God. Just because there is an
intelligent and purposeful consciousness holding us together does not neccesarily mean that it's going to tell us what to do or how to act. Is that your reason for not believeing in God? So you can't be told what to do or who to be? Well, it's more likely that if
something made you the way you are, why would it want you to change? Maybe we're all already perfect, just in the process of learning.

You can't learn by being told what to do - only by experience. That's why I don't believe in what religion calls 'God', but I do believe in a creator. Nature is kind of pretty not to mention so
brainmeltingly complex to think it was all an accident I think.

Your lower cerebellum in your brain is the proof
The lower cerebellum is the chanel to your mid brain
who in turn project the thought to your frontal lobe, behind your forehead
a labyrinth in the mind that can channel the mind of God
and be god incarnated into a human body
it took millions of years to perfect this matrix we live in
to evolve a human body so it can access the lower cerebellum
and experience pure bliss, pure love, no conditions for free
you and me as a collective created this reality to see if we could wake up in it and not die
we had to lie cuz it is part of the initiation and we had to discover on our own who we truly are
we are gods and goddesses falling in love with life
defying death so we can play some more for as long as we wish
there will come a day where the Iraq war will be history
long forgotten story

YOU are the proof! Humans and everything else on Earth - like mountains, forests, animals, the whole circle of life....It's all proof! How much more proof do you need?? Something so amazing and intelligent and complicated doesn't just happen!! There's a perfect balance..if you think about it! Everything is here on Earth for a specific reason! The Earth is a Creation....it didn't just ..Happen! Think about it and you will understand! Just like I did! :)

If there is a God or Gods, do you think they created other life in the Universe like us, as well? We haven't progressed very far from the old geo-centric (Earth as the center of the Universe days). The Universe is a dynamic and diverse place, our idea of 'God' is probably limited to our primitive understanding and lack of knowledge. BTW, the human body is built (at the most basic level)of carbon atoms which are only created by the intense nuclear fission that occurs when a star (like our own Sun) expires its fuel, collapses on itself, and explodes.

Being itself is absolute. Being absolute, it has a capacity for power. Power over time can produce great things. Yet there must be a stronger force that gives power a capacity. In that realm of possibilities and creation there is room for a being equivalent to a god. Where there are gods there is undoubtedly a God.

And aren't we blind without some inkling of certainty? What is certain but that which knows? And what could know except the all-knowing, who knows the place for things in relation to everything else? Wouldn't we be dangerously confused without something which would convince even us stupid humans that something is true?

That said, I'm an agnostic.

I don't believe humans just happened on planet earth million years ago, since human is way too complex a body system to just exist. I however, also doubt the existence of creator (god), since if there is a creator, then who creates the creator? And who creates the creator of the creator, and so on. So this is the flaw of creator-like believe, they never thought beyond the creation of themselves. I believe however, that billion of years ago, some formation of atoms, accidentally, by law of probability, formed intosome DNA-like pre-living thing (like virus), this kind of pre-life form is much simpler and more likely to result by a random mix of atoms, compared to a full human being (although it is still very complex). Although the chances may be enormously low, like, if you assemble several electronic parts randomly, is there a chance you'll make a radio, there is, although very slightly.

Then this pre-living being, formed some coverings for the DNA's, perhaps also accidentally. This formation of coverings, lead to become bacteria, which has both DNA, and body. But it is also by accident, that some of these bacterias, have abilities, to reproduce, mutate, moves, etc.

Some mutation later, some of this bacterias starts living together, since they found that symbiosys mutualism is good for them. And after living for so long, some of these bacterias feel there is no need to be able to do anything, just let the other bacterias some of it's work, and let me specialize in my job, so they become better at their thing only, and lost the ability to do any other thing. Some bacterias mutated into one that specializes on carrying messages (nerve), some into absorbing nutrition (roots and intestines), some into producing food (photosyntesis in leafs),

And slowly, since these groups of bacterias, become unable to live without each other, they become dependant of each other. Slowly too, these groups of bacterias formed into simpler living things, like small pre-plants, and much later, into a complex plants and animals.

So this world is really created by the Law of Probability. And I've also got to tell you that, since it's all probability, it is also possible that alien exist, perhaps there is some other arrangement of atoms that could think by it's own. And it is also possible that another form of living things may form years ago, before our solar system is created, or even years after our solar system has reached it's dead age.

There a few things that seem to indicate the existance of a creator.

1. If nothing exists beyond the confines of time, how did time start?

2. The law of entropy indicates that things naturally go from order to disorder so withouth an intelegence of some kind of did things go from disorder to order?

3. Why do we have simliar idea's of right and wrong? and simliar idea's of how things "should be"?

there's a just a few things that point to a creator or some sort.

Here's some proof. Scientists have found a protein that only exists in two places--humans and dirt. So there's your answer because in the Bible it says God created man from dirt so obviously that is true otherwise that protein would have been found in other places besides us and dirt.
