Because if they went to the right the the driver would be closest to the wall and it's safer for the driver if the cars go counter-clockwise, the driver is furthest from the wall.

I think I am going to go with the drivers are on the left hand side. However, not all tracks do, road races go both ways. It is easier to handle the car if you turning right.

cuz nascar sucks, all they do is make left turns around a big *** circle, there is no point, you all should ride motocross

because beer tastes better when it's churned to the left, instead of to the right.... didnt you know, thats why they race... theres beer to be mixed in the back of them cars.... *hic*.. thats why they esplode when they crash.

All tracks don't. Road courses turn right and left. Ovals turn left because they don't turn right. If they did, they would hit the wall. Duh.
