If you saw my previous question, then you know I'm starting a computer games design company. I really just want to know all there is to know about what makes games good and haow can they improve or any other tips applying to home bussinesses and games. Even stuff about the games on your ps2 or whatever game console you might have, even though I care most about computer games.

Computer games allow you to have higer resolutions and options during the game. More freedom as well since you dont have to reach a SAVE-POINT in the game to fix a good playing situation.
The games that I love are the ones that gives you the freedom to reach your goal without being forced to use one method only.
The type can be FPS as well as RTS or Platforms.
Developers I like a lot are VALVE and UBISOFT, BLIZZARD and others.

If your gonna make a game, make sure there is variety, but personally i like RTS', but MMORPGs are good. For RTS make lots of units and MMORPG lots of weapons armour, etc.

try something like Halo or something else like counter strike. Maybe even a game like Prject Gotham Racing.

i myself like all types of games. my favorites are first person shooters and RPGs. final fantasy series is great. good story lines are good too. also games with good sword fight type stuff is cool too.
