Don't pull the racist card either!
Years ago, when I was in retail, I worked with a black girl who would only work night shifts. When I asked her why, she said "well thats when my "people" come out". She said this as a joke, but she was right!
I only ask because I had to go to Walmart for laundry detergent at around 10pm last night, and I think I was the only non-black person there!

im a black woman, it depends.... sometime i shop late at night because i cant sleep and figure it's best to do something useful instead of laying down trying to get to sleep, sometimes it's because of convience, when i work 7 am to 1am. (not sleepy when i get off) i shop more in the day than at night though those are rare occasions. lines are shorter too at walmart at night, but the stockers are in the way!

I'm not in the USA i lived in Scotland and am now in Ireland. I'm not black either but i love shopping at night! Firstly because after too many years working night shift i'm still struggling to be a day person. I'm often awake until 3 or 4 AM or else wake up after a couple of hours in bed! Too used to sleep day time you see. So when i'm awake at night, shopping is the best. To start off shops aren't so crowded, you get lots of space, you have all the time in the world to browse as you wish, there's no queue at the check out and (In my case) It's good to drive home without meeting any other car, putting my shopping away, make a cup of tea and then know that i'm going to sleep the minute my head hits the pillow!

whatever! it depends on what majority shops at that certain place i worked at t.j. maxx for like 3 yrs and i used to get so upset because people would come into the store to shop at 9:25 or even 9:30 when we close at 9:30 and most would not leave and it was white (mostly white) some black some hatians some hispanics some of everything it did not matter they were all women however so maybe its a women thing!!!!! you are stupid for posting that its not racist its stupid you sound really uneducated "why do black people like to shop late at night" you are weird if you believe that! you need to get a life soon!!!! what are you 12 or something i expect a 12yr old to say/think something as stupid as that but whatever you are a waste of breath!!!

Most people work 9-5 then go home.Except some postal workers,hospital workers,and police have a nite shift.I like to go out at nite,it feels wild,free,and above the daily grind-above reality and normal hours-kinda brings out the vampire in me-only kidding. And I'm not exactly Black DNA shows...

Plenty of people go shopping at night weather their black or whatever race. I worked retail at night and I saw all kinds of people!!!!

I shop at night, but I'm mexican. The reason I shop at night is because its WAY to hot here in Texas to be outside in the day... lol.
