I have had two Cs. I am wanting to have another baby, but I'm apprehensive about being SLICED open again. Ugh. Have you had more than 2 Cs? I had some major aches in my chest (around collarbone area - both sides) after my last baby. OB said it was b/c of gas from the surgery. It scared me so bad! I felt like my heart was beating in a bubble. Did anyone else experience this? Thanks in advance...

After my last c-section I looked bigger than I did at 9 months because I had so much gas I had more pain than I thought I was going to have. My first was c-section, 2nd was normal and 3rd was c-section because with my 2nd child I had a lot of complications I know my doctor told me that with every operation it can weaken the uterus. He told me that at most I could have 2 more kids

Well i had my son vaginally, but my sister just had her baby last week and it was a c-section. She said that if she had to have a c-section again she didn't want any more kids. After she had the baby and they were monitoring her her heart beat raced and it really scared her. She's had head aches, but that's all I know so far. But other than that she's recovering very well compared to other.

I don't blame you for being reluctant to being 'knifed'.

Do keep in mind - though many physicians might be relucant, you can still have a vaginal birth after a cesarean....or two or three or four! I have even read the amazing birth story of a woman who had a completely medication free, vaginal birth after 7 prior cesareans. It's really true! I dont have a lot of experience with the pain you are mentioning but I just wanted to let you know that just becuase you've had cesarean before doesn't necessarily mean you have to have it again. This is really, really true. Please refer to what I have listed in the sources for more proof and information and resources. I know dozens of women who have birthed their babies after a cesarean section, and I hope to one day be one of them as well! Feel free to message me privately as well.

My cousin said it felt like her shoulder had to fart after she had her tubes tied! It is from the air that gets trapped in your body. My husband experienced the same thing after a hernia repair operation. I don't know about with the C-Section, but with having your tubes tied, they fill you full of gas to move your organs out of the way. Supposedly, they "let it out" but apparently, some gets trapped and needs to work its way out.

On the flip side - my other cousin had 4 C-Sections with no problems!
