Google answers is much more serious and to the point. Questioners pay for screened researchers to answer their questions. Non-paid people can "comment" on the question but those who post questions have to pay at least $2.50 to have them posted. That stops the "do you like my avatar?" stuff you see here from people who cannot read the rules.

Google answers: pay to use
Yahoo Answers: free
Google answers: not user friendly
Yahoo Answers: easy to understand format and very user friendly
Google answers: like most Google community websites and stuff, hard to figure out.
Yahoo Answers: easy to start up, figure out, and ready to use the first time you get it with no confusion
Basically, Google SUCKS

You can post 10 question in yahoo for free & for the same service google will charge you $ 25 to $ 30.
The answers in yahoo are based on experiences by COMMON MAN. So the information is more relaible & uplift your confidence in answers.

Yahoo! Answers is a free site and its a public site where anyone can answer your question...can be staff or non-staff.
Google Answers is a bunch of experts who answer your questions and its not a public site where anyone can answer your question. Thats why you cant ask certain things. Its not as open as Yahoo...and I think you have to pay a fee.

Google answers is a paid support. Experts on theother end give you correct answers by researching on your issues. In yahoo anyone an answer, no guarentee for genuine answers.You might get one or not. as it is free.
