I'm getting sick of it! the thing that really bothers me is having people come up to you and say they won out of luck, first of all soccer is all about luck NOT of how many great soccer players there are on a team, or because of that cheap *** Zidane gave a headbutt to Materazzi, and caused him to get a red flag, and had him get kicked out of the game. France and Italy both had 1 to 1 in the beginning, France got a penalty kick and shot a goal, and Italy shot a goal, that dosen't make France better than Italy or any other team because of one player. So the game... it was even, except for the end when they got all the penalty shots, and caused them to win. And another thing, you cannot cheat in soccer, ok, enough with the insults. I'm getting tired of having to hear the same **** repeatedly, if it bothers you that they won then keep your mouth shut, and stop freaking booing, people almost got their assed kicked by some fans on my block yesterday, thank god there wasn't a riot.

When I walk in the street people mumble nonsense. I have to make it clear to them that first of all I'm not on the team, second of all I am is a fan, and I'm Italian, it's like you rooting for the mets or yankees in baseball, and they win, you're happy, same **** in soccer, I like soccer, and I rooted for them, of course I have to root for them. Brazil won 4 years ago, they celebrated, all countries celebrate when their home team wins.... we celebrated too. And yes, Italy deserved to win. Enough with the racial conflicts, it's nothing racial.

Yeah they got lucky it is true. It is so sad when you can't rely on you skills (or maybe you don't have any) and you need to insult the best player to get him thrown off rather than try to outplay him. Answer.....yeah they cheated!!!!

Well, I think you shouldn't worry about what people are saying. Who cares what everyone says because your team is the one with the World Cup title and isn't that what really matters. I really like the Italian team and even though I think France played a little better I'm happy for the Italian fans that their team won.
I do have to disagree with you on one thing though. I truly believe that you can cheat in football (soccer). Constantly diving and trying to get unfair fouls against an opponent I find is cheating. Just watch some of the portuguese players. Although I wouldn't say Italy cheated. They had some lucky breaks and took advantage of them. Good job Italy!

I do think Itlay had some lucky breaks, you have to admit. Like scoring one minute before overtime finished against Germany, when the history showed that they had never won in penalty kicks (up until now, that is). But at the same time, I have to say that other teams had lucky breaks as well and sometimes that is what it comes down to, especially with penalty kicks. I am german and would love to have seen my team win, especially in their own country, so it was kind of a sad moment to see another country take it on our turf, but hey, that's how it goes. So enjoy, and don't worry about what people say, no matter who would have won, you would have the same rumors from all those fans that had to watch their teams leave. Hopefully in 2010 somebody else will have a shot at it (literally!!!).

France cheated. Not Italy. How many penalties did France get?

If someone should be named as a cheater, it should be France. Italy made a real goal, not a pansy penalty goal.

You shouldn't worry about what other people say, the french are just angry that they have to go back to eating their croissants and coffee.

you could't. in case you bypass round protesting too a lot, human beings will imagine you're protecting and meaning to blame. pretend to attraction to close no longer some thing and get on including your existence. If someone brings it up, you could always say that it is unhappy that he needs to inform those lies to justify a relationship going undesirable.
