Kerry was probably the most qualified person to ever run for president; read up on him. But ofcourse no one knew anything about Kerry's past except for his anti-vietnam actions. Bush won the election by lying to the american public and the public fell for it. Kerry earned his way to the top; Bush failed at everything he did, but he had the powerful bush name on his side.
Answer: Kerry by a landslide.

both get a "meh" in my book.
Bush is a liar and a coward. COward as in can't tell the truth to the american people. Has practically backed down from N Korea. Has lied to us about SS and waffled on Katrina, told us that "these people have no morals" referring to Kerry and yet his family owns how much of Haliburton? It is not illegal for Bush and his family to own a large chunk of Haliburton stock and award all the government contracts he can to the company, but he is making his family wealthy with the blood of american soldiers. The same reasons he atacked Iraq for, are happening in other countries, and he does not care. Plus any president who smiles while talking about war where Americans are dying, is a schmuck.
Kerry is a man of principle who lost his principles long ago. I don't think he would have been any better. I think he would have been to Louisiana sooner, but that's about it.

Bush is a decisive, no nonsense kind of guy. Kerry was a coward in Vietnam and is a coward now when faced with his "lovely" wife, Teresa. Who do you think wins those battles?

kerry..he had so many wonderful ideas, and concrete plans on how to make them happen. we would not be in Iraq now if he had been elected, the environmet would be better off, not so much outsourcing would be going on.. he wanted to keep american jobs in..guess where?? america!!! he had plans to help college kids afford to go to college... was trying to help the lower and middle class. only the extremely wealthy americans could afford bushs economic plan. 99.9% of our country is suffering from his econimic policies... yes Kerry hands down.

Hey Leah, how many bullets did W. take in Vietnam? Actually, none. He wasn't there, didn't know where it was, and was too busy dodging his lame National Guard duty by going to the dentist once - so, do you want to think about who was a coward? Turn off your ipod, put down your MP3, and do some original thinking for a change. Geez, you W. supporters just never want to pull your heads out of your rear-ends.

Give gregr the 10 points - nobody could say it better. It's all about who's a coward and who's a patriotic American and Bush is most certainly a coward.
