Check the wires or connectors...
Generally those make the buzz sound...
Touch the wires all over till the buzz stops, if it stops, change the wires, nothing else can be done...
Connectors, check the connectors terminals, and plugs, this if you move right-left and the buzz stops, you must need to buy some WD-40 available at any home-mart and apply it where you plug you wires, this will eliminate the sounds

If the problem persist, bring you bass to a store to have your tablets checked, those are a little expensive and need professional care...

Good luck

I had this problem once with my electric guitar. If all that stuff everybody else said still does not work, take off all the strings, and unscrew that big plate on the front of your guitar. It's the one around your pick ups and where you plug in your patch cord. Make sure NONE of the solder or wiring is touching anything else or each other. They must remain isolated from each other. The sound you here is a short in the system. Either find the short, isolate it from the rest, or take the wires off, and re-solder them (which is what I did). It sounds hard, but it was really easy. Don't be afraid of it, just do it. That will take care of that pesky buzzing.

Probably a problem with the electronics, try some electronics cleaner. Could be a faulty cord as well, unless its a fret buzz, then you'll need the action adjusted. Take it to a good repairman. If your are a serious musician, befrind a good instument repairman. Best thing I've ever done. And make sure the people running your system knows what the hell they are doing. Make sure levels are good and eq is good.

Also , if you are playing very near or under flourescent lighting , that could cause it too , it's called 60 cycle hum. Next time you hear it , try stnding up and turning right and left , don't play anything , and if you hear the sound fade and get louder as you move - THAT'S IT. you'll have to find the best place in the room where you get as little noise as possible.

It could be their sound system. It could also be the cables you are using, or the wireless system. It could also be that you have the treble too high, or are too fat (the sound, not you physically). It could be the electronics inside the guitar itself. It's not hard to take apart, so check the wires you're using, check their sound system, make sure you aren't playing the notes too fat first, then if all else fails, check the internal wireing.

Try changing the cord, and then check the system.

If the buzz is coming from the bass guitar itself, then check the bass, could be the frets.

yeah it's probually their sound system and i there is nothing you can do unless they let you mess with their system. Maybe they'll just let you bring in a small amp or something so you can have a clean sound but people can still hear you play. I'm sure you'll figure something out.

If you're using a wireless, that could be the problem. If you using a cord, it could be worn or not sitting the the amp correctly. Also, check for a ground button on the back of your amp. It may need to be clicked to another position.

You have to sort of be scientific about it. Try a different sound system. Try a different cord. Is it the pickups? Is it the volume knob?

Sounds to me like it's the pick ups in the guitar!
